1. Information Collection and Storage
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, request, store, or process any personal identification information (such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers).
- No User Accounts: You do not need to register, log in, or provide any credentials to use any feature of the App.
- Local Storage Only: All user preferences (such as selected currency lists, saved portfolios, custom rate overrides, and theme settings) are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
2. Third-Party Services & Network Requests
To provide real-time currency exchange rates and historical market charts, the App queries public financial rate endpoints (such as European Central Bank reference APIs, open currency rate CDNs, and CoinGecko for cryptocurrency spot prices).
- These queries contain only standard financial pair identifiers (e.g., querying rates for USD to EUR).
- No personal information, user tracking data, or advertising identifiers are included in these requests.
- The App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tracking frameworks, or data brokers.
3. Device Permissions
The App requests only the minimal system capabilities necessary for core functionality:
- Network Access / Internet: Required solely to fetch current exchange rates and historical chart data.
- Notifications (Optional): If you choose to enable price threshold alerts or the daily rate summary, the App uses local device notifications to deliver those updates.
- Haptic Feedback: Used solely to provide tactile responses during calculator keypad interactions.
4. Children's Privacy
Our applications are designed for general audiences and educational/utility purposes. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.
